Now, we would like to reveal to you our next project: the translation of Calvin’s Institutes. This is a mega-project considering its sheer volume in and of itself; 1824 computer pages, 4.013.120 characters, 3 layers of translation and editing, hundreds of references and index items, extreme difficulty in translating the magnificent penmanship of Calvin in the precision, colors and shades of his extensive vocabulary, rhythm, force, his coining of punch-phrases, his movements and fluidity. But the real magnitude of this project rests on the importance of Calvin’s theology and the effect that it can have for the reformation of a society.
Mission to Albania is a Reformed and Presbyterian church-planting effort, overseen by the session of Woodruff Road PCA and supported by a dozen of PCA churches and many faithful individuals. Its purpose to encourage and assist churches throughout the world to engage in building God's City in Albania, and thus fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. Christianity on Albania has ancient roots. The Apostle Paul traveled through Albania preaching the Good News. Of this he wrote in Romans 15:19 "…so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ." The Illyricum that Paul wrote is known today as the country of Albania. In this site, you will find information about the country of Albania, its spiritual situation, the mission team, its goals and philosophy of mission, its work, ways that you can help and get involved by praying, giving, going.
