Help Translate Calvin's Institutes

Now, we would like to reveal to you our next project: the translation of Calvin’s Institutes. This is a mega-project considering its sheer volume in and of itself; 1824 computer pages, 4.013.120 characters, 3 layers of translation and editing, hundreds of references and index items, extreme difficulty in translating the magnificent penmanship of Calvin in the precision, colors and shades of his extensive vocabulary, rhythm, force, his coining of punch-phrases, his movements and fluidity. But the real magnitude of this project rests on the importance of Calvin’s theology and the effect that it can have for the reformation of a society.

The Apostle Paul traveled through Albania preaching the Good News. Of this he wrote in Romans 15:19 "…so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ."
