Kona Home

Berti's lovely office with his bookshelves, obviously overloaded . . . a blessing ;) Seminary diplomas framed and hung in the office along with Berti's Licensure and Ordination Certificates. The Children's corner . . . or another way to hide several boxes that have no other place to go.
This dining table in the hall/corridor can serve from 4 or 8/9 when unfolded. Just look at those floors . . . praise the Lord that all that will change within a week or so. I will try to add the updated photos.

Office is the door ahead, bedroom to the Our sweet little bathroom! Very uncommon to have any rugs on the floor of a European bathroom as the water normally floods the floors from your shower. We have a type of step to prevent this and do not mind the shower curtain sticking to us sometimes.

I have enjoyed the beautiful mint green and bronzes as the color scheme for the bathroom. It goes well with the burgundy. Do you now see the water tank heater there on the left?
Do you recognize this blessing? A daily reminder :) My flower corner in the living room . . . a make shift little table from the gas heater that will soon be needed . . . buy buy flowers for now! Looks cozy? I have loved the palmetto theme as this is one feature common in both Durres and South Carolina. The lamp compliments of our dear Kona parents who live just diagonal 50 or so yards in another apartment building.
The other side . . . notice the cabinet/cupboard furniture piece as was common during communist times. This was left for our use by the landlords. Just behind the hanging banner is the t.v. and we display as many pictures as possible there on the right si If you send a picture, note, drawing, or magnet . . . there it goes on the fridge for quite some time. Such an encouragement for me! Can you find the little expresso cups and saucers on the shelf? Now for the little kitchen . . . Look up . . .
Look down! This floor will be changing soon too. I surely have made good use of this kitchen and plan to do a lot more. And of course the stove. Interesting color wouldn't you say? Our bedroom will have the old American theme. We will show more later when there is actually more to show!
